Between July 1, 2006, and June 30, 2011, 624 vehicle accidents were recorded on the 65-mile Glendive-Fairview corridor. The majority of those crashes were due to inattentive and careless driving, which largely stems from falling asleep at the wheel and subsequently driving off the road.
